SEPTEMBER 19
Due to an electrical issue, the volleyball games for tonight in Jacksboro will be played at the Jacksboro Middle School.
The games will start at 5:00 p.m.
HES Book Fair-September 18-22
Monday- Friday 8-4; Thursday Family Night 6-7:30. Our online book fair is also happening now until Sept. 27.
TXDSHS will be at the HISD Admin Building (1801 E. Crafton St) on Oct. 18 to vaccinate the students. If you wish to participate, please fill out the forms and return to the nurse by Oct. 13 Must be uninsured, underinsured or on Medicaid to participate.

HHS Pep Rally - Friday, September 15
There will be no school for students on September 14 and 15. HISD faculty and staff will participate in a 1/2 work day on September 14.

Shine Bright is the theme for the senior pep rally on Friday, September 1.
There will be no school on Monday, September 4.

Bearcat fans, we have had to make some changes for the scrimmage tonight. Make plans to come out and support your Bearcats and their THSCEF fundraiser.

HISD would like to express a HUGE thank you to our local community and agencies for coming together to help make a successful first HISD Back To School Fair! First United Methodist along with Dewayne Aylor donated a generous amount of school supplies to help 66 students in HISD get the school supplies needed for this school year. Savannah Jenkins, Kirsten Williams, Leslie Davis, and Lacy Powell all donated their time to provide free-of-charge haircuts for families as well. First Christian Church donated sno cones for these families that attended H-Town Takeover along with Four Stars sponsored shirts for students to have a piece of Bearcat Spirit wear. We had several retired teachers in the community come out and help these families get what they needed as well as HISD staff. Big Thank you to Children’s Home, Southern Grit, Clay County Food Bank, CASA, and Medicaid Plans for attending and providing information to our families as well! This event was definitely the true definition of ALL IN!!
