Hello! My name is Kaleena Jenkins and I will be joining Henrietta Elementary this next school year as assistant principal. I grew up in Burkburnett and have been teaching there for the past 16 years. I have taught 2nd, 4th, 6th, and 8th grade. I taught all subjects at the elementary level and English Language Arts and Reading at the secondary level. I graduated from Midwestern State University in 2006 with my teaching degree and from Lamar University in 2022 with my Masters's in Educational Leadership. I'm very excited to begin my journey as an administrator here in Henrietta as it is another small community that feels like home.

I enjoy spending time with my family most of all. Shawn Kea and I have been together for 9 years. Our kids are the joy of my heart. Caleb Kea will be entering his junior year at Texas A&M majoring in engineering/industrial distribution. Addison Kea will begin her freshman year of college at Clarkson University (New York) and will be playing basketball and majoring in physical therapy. Avery Jenkins will be a sophomore at Burkburnett HS where she is involved in basketball and track and is a class officer. In my spare time, you will probably find me reading or binging a TV series.
