We are so excited to welcome Peggy DeMoss as our new Assistant Principal at Henrietta Elementary!
Mrs. DeMoss’s journey in education has truly come full circle. She began her career right here in Henrietta, completing her student teaching at Henrietta High School with Mrs. Graves. Since then, her career has taken her through various school districts and to Region 10 Education Service Center, where she has gained a wealth of knowledge, experience, and expertise.
And now, she’s coming home to Henrietta—this time to join us at the elementary! 🐾
We feel incredibly blessed to have Mrs. DeMoss joining our Bearcat family. Her experience, heart for education, and commitment to helping students and teachers grow will make her an amazing addition to our team.

Dear Henrietta Elementary Families,
We want to make families aware of an important change to bus transportation for this school year.
Buses will NOT pick up students in the morning or drop off students in the afternoon at the old Junior High location (308 E. Gilbert) as they have in previous years.
If your child previously used the old Junior High as a pick-up or drop-off location to get to or from Henrietta Elementary, you will need to make other transportation arrangements for your child.
All other regular bus routes will continue to run as scheduled.
If you have any questions regarding bus transportation or your child’s bus route, please contact George Essler at 940-720-7900 or via e-mail at George.Essler@henrietta-isd.net.
We appreciate your help in making sure transportation plans are in place before the start of school. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

TOMORROW!! You may park on the East Ikard side of the gymnasium and enter door A1. Doors will not open until 5:00 PM. We have plenty of supplies, so don't stand in the heat any earlier than you need to! Haircuts will stop promptly at 6:15 PM to allow for stylists to clean and gather their supplies and leave by 6:30 PM. Basic haircuts ONLY.
