Melissa Silva

I am honored to serve as the principal of this amazing school and to be part of a community that is deeply committed to the success of every child.

I have spent the past 22 years in education, including 9 years in school administration. My educational journey began at Midwestern State University, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a teaching certification. I later earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Lamar University.

Throughout my career, I have been passionate about building strong relationships with students, families, and staff. I believe that every child deserves a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where they can grow academically, socially, and emotionally. My goal is to help create a school culture where students love learning, teachers feel supported, and families feel connected and valued.

I am proud to lead Henrietta Elementary and work alongside a dedicated team of educators who strive each day to help our Bearcats reach their full potential. Together, we are committed to providing exceptional educational opportunities and creating lasting memories for our students.
