Welcome to the 22-23 school year HES
families! My name is Ashley Lamb and I am so excited and honored to continue to
serve the community of Henrietta as your elementary principal again this year.
What a blessing last year was. Thank you for your constant support and
encouragement as I stepped into this new role.
This will be my 11th
year in education and 4th year in administration. I attended school at
Midwestern State University where I received my Bachelor of Science in
Interdisciplinary Studies to fulfill my lifelong goal of becoming a teacher and
then later received my Master of Education in Administration from Lamar
University in 2018 after feeling called into leadership. I became a
school leader because I am passionate about school culture and committed to
helping create a campus environment where students, staff, and families feel
welcome, valued, and safe to take risks and grow! I love what I do and plan on
giving Henrietta my best effort every single day because our kids deserve it!
I have been married to my husband, Dustin,
for 11 years. We have 3 children and they will all be attending HES again this
year. Our oldest son, Ashtin, will be starting the 5th grade. Our daughter,
Annie, will be in 2nd grade and our youngest son, Abbott, will be in 1st grade.
We also have a Goldendoodle named Auggie who keeps us on our toes. We
absolutely love being a part of the Bearcat family!
When I am not at work, I love being outside
or taking long drives with my family. I help lead worship at my church a few
Sundays a month and I enjoy reading a good book when I have a few extra minutes
in my day. If I have favorite things outside of my faith, family, and friends,
it would be drinking tea from some of my favorite local places and going on
road trips to sight see.
I am so excited for my second year here at
HES. One of our greatest accomplishments last year was earning the distinction
of “Capturing Kids’ Hearts Showcase School.”This title says it all. We are here
to capture our students’ hearts so that they love coming to school, love
learning, and feel connected to their school community through meaningful
relationships. We will continue that mission this year as we seek to be a light
in our community this coming school year. Please do not hesitate to reach out
if I can help or support you in any way.
